Alright Warrior,

March is Social Work Month, and I couldn't let it pass without saying something — because this one is personal.

I've been a social worker for 30 years.

Thirty. Years.

That's three decades of showing up for people in some of the hardest moments of their lives. And I wouldn't trade a single one of them.

But today, I'm not here to talk about me. I'm here to give a massive, heartfelt shout-out to every social worker out there doing the work — especially the ones walking alongside women like us. The ones sitting in offices, community centers, hospitals, and schools, helping neurodivergent women get diagnosed, get support, and finally feel seen. The ones advocating for women whose mental health has been dismissed, minimized, or misunderstood for years. You are doing sacred work, and I see you.

Social work is one of those professions that doesn't get nearly enough credit. The caseloads are heavy. The emotional toll is real. The pay often doesn't reflect the depth of what you give. And yet, social workers keep showing up — because the people they serve deserve someone in their corner.

If a social worker has ever changed your life, this month is a great time to tell them. Send the email. Leave the voicemail. Shoot the text. Trust me, they need to hear it more than you know.

And if you ARE a social worker reading this — whether you're still in the field, burned out and resting, or like me, channeling that passion into a new kind of advocacy — thank you. From the bottom of my warrior heart, thank you.

We chose this work because we believed people deserved better. That belief doesn't expire.

Happy Social Work Month to my fellow warriors in the field. 🌿

Love Always,

Amy
